- Oct 28- Nov 17 (0091(A) Cluster program): covered by Houghton (ESO funded) + Cappellari (Oxford funded)
- Oct 28th - Nov 7th, Houghton
- Nov 5th - Nov 17th, Cappellari
- Nov 21/22 (0769(A)): Magdis (PATT) + one Oxford funded observer; will cover field and Herschel surveys. If Cirasuolo wants to stay longer, just send one PATT observer
- Magdis needs to make the case to PATT for being the second observer.
- Feb 21/22 (0538(D)): Bunker (ESO) + one student (Tiley, Oxford funded)
- Jarvis reported that ESO usually pay for local paranal costs for students but not flights.
- RLD to ask Ray if need for Oxford person to go for planet runs

Ask ESO for 40 specific nights.
Backup targets
Two types:
- Southern targets to avoid winds; can be as faint as primary targets
- Very bright targets for when cloud cover
Each observer needs to develop both types of backup programmes for their trips. RLD wants to verify these, deadline 1 month before trip starts (end of Sept for first P92 run)
New targets MUST BE APPROVED by ESO beforehand, if required for the backups.
Summary of Actions
- Davies: to ask Ray if need for Oxford person to go for planet runs
- Magdis: needs to make the case to PATT for being the second observer.
